IMHSD members contribute to new book on Embodied Music Cognition
The Routledge Companion to Embodied Music Interaction was released on 26th April 2017 and includes contributions from IMHSD members Nikki Moran, Ana Almeida, Dorothy Miell and Katie Overy.
The chapter by Ana Almeida, Katie Overy and Dorothy Miell is entitled ‘Playing with the beat: A process-oriented approach to studying sensorimotor synchronization in early childhood’, while Nikki Moran contributed a chapter entitled ‘Agency in Embodied Music Interaction.’ The book also features a contribution from IMHSD collaborator Rebecca Schaefer entitled ‘Modifying Movement Optimization Processes with Music,’ and co-authored by Scott Grafton.
