PhD Students Anna Bryan, Lucy Forde, and Jenny England present at IAMM/ISfAM joint congress in Berlin
Anna Bryan, Lucy Forde, and Jenny England presented their PhD research in Berlin at the joint congress of the International Association on Music and Medicine and International Society for Arts and Medicine (September 18-21st). Anna presented her poster titled “How Do Activities Coordinators Make Decisions Regarding Music Facilitation in Care Homes”, Lucy gave a 15-minute presentation titled “Connecting to People Living with Dementia through Music: Perspectives from Community Musicians” , and Jenny gave a 15-minute presentation titled “Alive Together: Bringing the ‘Poetic’ to Dementia Dyads Through Music and Mimesis”. It was a great opportunity to network internationally, as well as to strengthen connections between these students in the MHSD group.
