Katey Warran contributes to BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon Show

IMHSD PhD student Katey Warran recently appeared on BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon Show to talk about the benefits of engaging with the arts, specifically in relation to group singing. Responding to Ali Blatcher’s personal experience of mental health and discovering the arts, Katey discussed results from her work with the Centre for Performance Science (Royal College of Music & Imperial College, London), including the psychobiological benefits of singing, and then went on to talk about arts on prescription and the Creative Health report. To listen to the programme, click here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0003jz3
