Launch of the Arts and Homeless Review of Scotland
Date: 20th September 2018
Time: 14.00 – 18.00
Location: Grassmarket Community Project, 86 Candlemaker Row
Scotland leads the way, being the first country in the UK to bring together its national arts and homeless sectors and launch its own national review. Shelly Coyne, a graduate of the MSc in Music in the Community and current IMHSD PhD student, has been the lead researcher for the review with a team of co-researchers with lived experience of homelessness. The choir Shelly set up at the Lodging House Mission will open the day and the research team will share their findings and recommendations for the sector. The review will be available to read on-line at http://with-one-voice.com/resources.
