Una MacGlone travels to Helsinki for the ISME conference

ly-2nd August Una MacGlone attended the International Society of Music Education Conference in Helsinki. She gave a talk: ‘I hate everything… but I like friends’ – Developing understandings of inclusion and wellbeing through songwriting with young people with additional support needs. She also contributed a poster: ‘What can investigating experiences of three disabled musicians working as Community Musicians offer to understanding inclusion.’ Una particularly enjoyed the concerts which presented music performed by innovative groups such as Resonaari (a disability-led band).
