MHSD PhD Student Anna Bryan Attends 31st Annual Maine Geriatrics Conference

Anna attended the 31st Annual Maine Geriatrics Conference on 23rd-24th May 2024 in Bar Harbor, Maine. As a Mainer herself, she was very happy to have the opportunity to meet researchers and practitioners in her home state. Anna hosted a “Music in Care Homes” networking table during lunch and discussed her research with delegates in a variety of professions, including clinicians and individuals working in the pharmaceutical industry. She also handed out resource leaflets from Playlist for Life to help those interested in making a personalised music playlist for themselves and/or a loved one. Many delegates were also grateful to receive an Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Research Centre pen and a piece of Scottish Tablet!
