PhD student Menchie Leung launches international study

PhD student Menchie Leung has launched an international study examining the relationship between musical experience and emotional wellbeing during adolescence in two different cultural contexts: the UK and Hong Kong.
Young participants aged 12-14 from the UK and HK are welcome to participate. They will be asked to fill in an anonymous online survey three times, at three-month intervals. Each survey will take about 30 minutes to complete. There is no need to play a musical instrument to take part – the only requirement is parental/guardian consent to participate. As a token of appreciation, participants will have the chance to win gift vouchers, through a lucky draw, at the end of each survey.
If you know someone who might be interested in taking part in this study, please do share this message with them. For further details, please see: https://blogs.ed.ac.uk/scothk-music/
